Who I Am

Who I Am

I was born in one country and grew up in another. I carry both with me, every day, which probably explains why I write for people who also live between cultures, languages and places.

I've worked and collaborated in the travel industry for over a decade, currently also in a management role, where I learned much of what I know about telling stories that move people to act.

I started communicating on social media two and a half years ago. I saw an almost empty space: serious content about Islam in Portuguese, for an audience spread across several countries, without falling into extremism on one side or generic self-help emptiness on the other. At the same time, I wanted to develop my own public speaking, and the only way to learn to speak well is by speaking.

Years of personal study and guidance from people who know more than I do support everything I write. It's still, today, a work in progress.

Today I write about mindset, history, travel and faith, for anyone who wants to build a life with roots, before building speed.
